BEM Unsoed- Scholarship Talks, yang merupakan agenda kerjasama antara International Relation Office Unsoed dengan Kementrian Luar Negeri BEM Unsoed 2020 telah sampai pada ragkaian terakhirnya pada Senin (12/8). Pada chapter kelima ini, Scholarship Talks menghadirkan pembicara yang menempuh pendidikan di dua negara, yaitu Kiky Srirejeki (University of Western Australia, Australia) dan Shafira Septriani (Pukyong National University, Korea Selatan).
Scholarship Talks #5 ini diselenggarakan secara online melalui Zoom Meeting dengan moderator Kartika Candra M. yang merupakan mahasiswa jurusan Hubungan Internasional Unsoed. Agenda tersebut berlangsung pukul 15.30 – 17.40 WIB yang diawali perkenalan dan pembacaan CV narasumber, dan berlanjut dengan pemaparan presentasi dari kedua negara.

Pada kesempatan ini, narasumber membahas mengenai segala hal yang berkaitan dengan studi luar negeri khususnya di Australia dan Korea Selatan. Pada pembahasan tersebut, disebutkan bagaimana cara belajar di luar negeri, salah satunya yang disampaikan oleh pembicara dari Korea Selatan. Hal yang pertama kali dilakukan untuk meraih kesempatan belajar di luar negeri adalah niat. Niat dapat diartikan untuk berani keluar dari zona nyaman.
Yang kedua adalah menjadi stalker tingkat dewa, yang memiliki arti menjadi seseorang yang haus dan update terhadap informasi beasiswa serta terus mencari berbagai jalur dan celah guna mendapatkan beasiswa luar negeri. Tahapan mendapatkan beasiswa dimulai dari seleksi, tes atau interview, pengumuman administrasi barulah dapat berangkat ke negara tujuan dan studi di sana.
